Question regarding membership
Just a quick question. I recall reading in one of the FAQ's that resolutions passed prior to a nation's entering the UN do not affect that nation. However, I can't seem to find that statement again. Is that correct? Is my nation indeed only affected by resolutions passed while I am a member?

The UN is your chance to mold the rest of the world to your vision, by voting for resolutions you like and scuttling the rest. However, it's a double-edged sword, because your nation will also be affected by any resolutions that pass. (You can't just obey the resolutions you like and ignore the rest, like real nations do.)
So, no.
That's not quite the whole story, Vas. Sure, you still have to follow all the resolutions passed, but the ones that were passed before you joined won't affect your stats, IIRC.
Alright - his stats will only be affected by those passed when he is a member, but his nations laws will be affected by all of them which are in effect while he's a member.
More precise?
We tend not to pay attention to stats.... ours are always so dominant.

Yes! :fluffle:

Hmm, your "political freedom" and "civil rights" might beg to differ. :p
We like them just where they are - and so, our wants are dominant.
Civil rights? The people will do as we wish, and enjoy it. Beatings shall continue until morale improves! :D
Great. Thank you. Your answers are much appreciated.
