Recently I joined the UN and being accepted a region was created. At the moment this region (Dutopia) consists of two nations including myself. I invite anyone who would like to join this region to feel free to. But what I come here today to propose is a UN proposal in which case I require at least two endorsements for. If you agree with the following, please join me in redefying the world, not for insanity or just fun, but for right:

1) International Currency known as the Dude (¡Ç)
-It would defeat boundaries between nations and limit competition and the advantage taking of wealthier countries over the less rich when it comes to exchange.
2) International Overseeing of shipping and trade
-An agreement of official international shipping and trade routes be supervised and secured by one central organization answering to only the U.N. and other foreign members as a whole. Using one language at all these ports would make communcations easier in planes and ships making security easier to come by. One central organization funded as one would make all ports equal in money matters rather than making richer ones more secure, but instead basing security solely on size.
3) International electronic format known as '.uni'
-Pirating has become abundant and must be protected. Also major enterprises are competing against each other for monopolization in music and video formats (.avi/.mov/.mp3). Under one format '.uni' would make less hassle for consumers for transporting from windows to apple, etc. It would demand companies to develop technologies rather than marketing and monopolization techniques.

Potential UN proposals belong in the UN forum. World currency though is i think illegal as it is game mechanics violation i believe

When this is moved to the UN forum, most people will tell you this is a violation of game mechanics. You can't have a universal currency, that would require changing the game code.

You can have a universal currency if you average all the conversion rates of the member nations' orginal currencies and notify vendors of this situation when there is a weapons purchase

We find your primitive computer systems to be incompatibe with our own system of dealing with information. The Kireltos being linked to the Great Zero allows us to prevent all pirating of information by the simple fact that all information transfers are going through the same system. At any moment, any technitian with the approval may link in to the Great Zero and check the logs there.

This proposal is one for Internationalism for three main subjects (trade, foreign aid and technology):

1) Treaty of Anatomy Synapse (International Overseeing of shipping & trade)
-An agreement of official international shipping and trade routes be supervised and secured by one central organization answering to only the U.N. and other foreign members as a whole. Using one language at all these ports would make communcations easier in planes and ships making security easier to come by. One central organization funded as one would make all ports equal in money matters rather than making richer ones more secure, but instead basing security solely on size.
Currently government organizations which are meant for communicating with others are being lost in translation. With the Treaty of Anatomy Synapse International networks (trade routes, transportation systems) would be overseen by one centre answer to all with a universal language and set of guidelines].
Recommending English as the very universal language is a strong plus making transition in major powers easier to handle with the transition costing already.

2) Abolishment of third world debt
-Long ago during the days of the Cold War much money was loaned and in most cases put in individual hands rather than a community's. This proposal demands the deletion of debt to developed nations from third-world ones. The fact is banks can not expect a repayment and neither should they. The only way for developing nations to progress and catch up is if we allow them to. If we do this now, it will quicken the progress of our nations and open up new developed markets for trade and the old ways of 'buy & sell'.

Pick one, or two related ones. Mixing proposal types isn't allowed.

Your first one is a Free Trade proposal. The second is Social Justice. I can't figure out exactly what the third one would be, but probably not either Free Trade or Social Justice.

You've got good ideas, but don't try to put everything into one mishmost proposal. We like things to make sense around here. *

Creates Another Useless Committee, is unnecessary, and establishes protocols we find disagreeable.

Incompatible with our computer systems, and as such more of a problem to us.

It's pointless and inflexible to enforce 1 language at ports. Everywhere, people will be using the language most convenient already.

As to your third idea, a range of file formats is not a bad thing. First, many nations are at different levels of technological development. Second, it's useful to have a choice of formats for the different features you want - sound quality, modes and extents of compression, different types of data, variable or uniform bit rates, or optimisation for a particular device. Third, a range of formats encourages the development of better formats.

A message for all delegates. If you will please direct your attention to pages 13-14 on the list of the U.N. Porposals currently being voted on, you will find 3 proposals with voting ending on June 9. I submitted them on June 5 and I beg for justice. I feel strongly about these causes. Vote, support, NationStates!

I approved a couple of really weak ones yesterday in exchange for their approval of the Intl. Cheese Act.

I approved one today, a repeal of right to teach evolution, I never liked that resolution anyway, dang UN Gnomes meddleing in my nation's schools.

The Poverty Payoff proposal has merit as an idea. However, you really should run any proposal through a rigorous forum editing so that the proposal is written solidly and cover a few important points instead of trying to cover everything. The idea of cancelling 3rd world debt is actually a proposal worth talking at a UN level.

That being said, your draft need a great deal of refinement. In the interest of RPing, remove such labels as "Africa" and such, just to start. Itemize your proposals main points without making too many of them. The more items, the more ways the bill will be shot down. Also, format the proposal so that it is easier to read. We, the lazy delegates, do not read every single word of a proposal, especially if it is a big block paragraph as yours currently is. We read sharply placed bullets much more readily. Good luck to your proposal. When it is of a better edit, you will have our support.

In Dutopia, we can all work together to make a powerful region which will rival others. A region where with pure numbers we can put in any proposal we wish into the UN. Imagine the power we can wield to simply better NationStates, better the people!

Currently such regions as North Pacific have numbers in the 150 range. This is fine, but it also gives them great power over such regions with less than 10. And lets face it, there are many of those, some with only one but not for long. Not for long if all small regions come together. I invite you to come and join, everyone is equal, we hold no superiority, only right!
