Disapproval power

Regional delegates currently have power to approve of a proposal to try and get it onto the main floor for discussion. However they lack the power to disapporve of proposals, they can simply hope that said proposals don't reach the floor and die in duscussion. I propose that UN Regional Delegates be given the power to cast a disappoving vote concerning potential proposals, so as to express their discontent. If a proposal gets 6% of the Delegates disapproving votes it is deleted before reaching the main floor of the UN.

Is this feasible?

This would be more appropiate in the Tech forum, where it has been asked before and not implemented because if I remember correctly it would require a major recode of the game.

This is a Game Mechanics issue. It cannot be a proposal.

Pointless! Not endorsing a proposal is essentially a disapproval.

I thought it might've been something like that, but wasn't sure so I asked.

I don't know about that. What about people who just don't care? Or missed the the proposal while it was on? A disapproval would be an unambigious "No".

It's been raised many times before, including here, Proposal: Let UN Regional Delegates vote to REJECT Proposals (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=304107). At this point, there is little chance (read: "no chance") of it happening.
