For me, it'd be a ban on the death penalty, though I'm pretty sure the UN has been there and turned it down already.

How about all y'all?

The ones in which propose the abolition of The United Nations.

Ah yes, those are always fun. We see at least one or two of those every month. And they work, too! Everybody who submits such a proposal finds that they have been abolished from the UN! Amazing how submitting illegal proposals does that.

Best way to get ejected. Its not like they have to join so why do they? I'll never understand

C'mon, everyone knows you've got to fight fire with fire. Although in this case, it's more like they're fighting an inferno with a two-week-old herring, which has only worked once to my knowledge.

Don't question my methods! It worked, didn't it? :)

Or a live python.

That was in the news round here yesterday... :D

To be honest, the brief summary is funnier than the full story. To cut the long story short, a firefighter picked up a live python instead of a hose, then rushed to try and douse the fire before realising what he was holding... :p

Yeah, exactly like - oh, wait...

I fight fire by opening a dimensional rift and dumping it into the nations I don't like. If I don't want to bother anyone, however, I dump it in the dimension filled entirely with two-week old herrings.

And after centuries of grievances against our universe, they discover inter-dimensional travel and overrun us completely becoming our overlords and forcing us to bow to their fishy ways.

We're getting off-topic in the weirdest ways, but I guess there wasn't much of a topic anyways.

I'd quite like to see a resolution that abolishes showing favouritism to the mother in the cases of child custody - recognising that the gender of the parent is of no significance whatsoever.

Never happen, but it'd be nice.

If it was well written, I'd support it.

I'd also definitely support that, again provided a decently written proposal...

We'd like to see a bill to radically contain the terror threat of the mother in law.

:D ROFL

But seriously, a good Gun Control resolution might be nice. It's probably too controversial to ever pass, sadly, but we've never had one, so it would make an interesting change.

That is a resolution i would either be willing to support or write myself. Would anyone else support it?

A resolution to repeal the ban on landmines I am soon to get back to debating.

Personally, I would like to see a resolution repealing the resolution that banned biochemical weapons within the UN. It's not that I support biochemical weapons or would ever use them; rather, I would like my nation to have the ability to research and develop such weapons so that we can better defend ourselves against them in the event of a terrorist attack involving such weaponry.

lol, brilliant. Build more biological weapons so less biological warfare happens. You must fear a doomsday gap.
