Ban Of Recreational Drugs

A resolution to ban, legalize, or encourage recreational drugs.


Category: Recreational Drug Use Decision: Outlaw Proposed by: San Quisqueya

Description: Article I.

All Nations pertaining to the United Nations will outlaw the Recreational use of Drugs.

Article II.

The Medical use of Drugs will not be banned, as long as the Drug has been apporved by a certified Medical Staff and with approval from the Government. The Government must know the Reason the Drug is being Administered, but is not privy to the Information of the Patient.

Article III.

The United Nations will enforce this Resolution if passed. Any Government that does not follow the rules of the Resolution Will:
1. Be Warned by the UN about the
Consequences.
2. Will be banned from the United
Nations
Article IV.

This Resolution recognizes that the Recreational Use of Drugs leads to Death and Disease. Some people that do not smoke are affected by Second Hand Smoke. Hence, the United Nations must stop this destructive activity as soon as possible, before the Diseases slaughter millions.

In Conclusion:
This Resolution would go into effect 24 Hours after
being Accepted.

Status: Lacking Support (requires 150 more approvals)

We stand strongly opposed to this. We see no need to regulate what our citizens are allowed to do with their own lives.

Article III makes this illegal.
