Save Historical Sites Proposal Idea

Hey y'all, I know my last and first proposal didn't go to well which is why I'm making sure this will be accepted first.

I want to start a proposal that guarentees the protection of historical sites in our nations. Remember y'all, if we don't know our past, we won't have a future. So what do y'all think of the idea?

we think it is an interesting concept..... but not exactly an UN worthy one. we are all for protecting a historical site, but if a country wants to bulldoze a historical site in their own country, that has nothing to do with us, it is fine by them. if that site does have something to do with our national heritage, then we will raise it with that nation.

There is already a resolution on protecting historical sites but as you can see from this link (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=7029611&postcount=16) its pretty short and doesn't seem to do much. If you want to repeal this and replace it with something better I'd support your efforts as much as my non-delegate status lets me :).

While thats true for national rights, some sites have international value and there should be a little effort for them to be saved, but I see your point.

Thanks y'all!

Perhaps a proposal protecting international historic sites, but there'd need to be some kind of panel to determine which nations have real claims to it, and some kind of majority system to alter it. (If all the nations involved with it agree to demolish it, sure, go ahead, but what if only nine out of ten do? Eight? What would the system be like?)
