A resolution to reduce barriers to free trade and commerce.
*
Category: Free Trade
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: St Mihael
Description: 1. UN should be taken as a one big trade zone, there for all manufaturers from all nations should have equal change in it.
a) All manufaturers from all nations ought to be equal.
b) We can not allow bigger manufaturers/nations get monopoly, that is bad for consumers. (With open market we will have more suplliers and there for less monoply.)
c) When there are no taxes, then tradeing will get more active and we can develop our transit in side UN.
2. UN should tax nations out UN if needed. Taxing should depend on the size of the production in side the UN trade zone, to prevent over supllying and to protect manufaturers in side UN.
a) With taxes for manufaturers out of UN we can influence their selling prieces and protect our own manufaturers.
b) With leaving taxes to non UN members will leave goverments with smaller loses in income.
c) We can influence other nations to join UN to be part of our free trade zone.
d) Tax size would be smaller or will be 0 if UN can not produce enough of that product for UN people - that's for keeping the prize low for consumers.
3. All already existig free tradings will have to be canceled.
a) It is so to preotect the zone from all holes, where merchandise can get in with out paying taxes.
Approvals: 19 (Cobdenia, Leagueheim, Vermak Incang, Our Lord Spenser, All that glows, Gansine, Catronia Marks, Holidayland, Alesteria, NobleChaos, Guerrero Tierra, Gods escape from Bush, United Smufs, Minor Sealand, Grimmig, Luxabuxastan, Beerhood, The Free Scotts, Zyphyr)

Voting Ends: Tue Apr 26 2005
As a fully capitalizt nation that supports free trade in its truest form, Lindim would like to express its displeasure that a delegate to the UN would masquerade such an anti-free trade law under the guise of "A resolution to reduce barriers to free trade.."
Though this does create a sector of free trade, this proposal would not only attempt to control the economic decisions of UN Member States, it would effectively ostracize non-UN nations and cut them off from the benefits of free trade and capitalizm with tariffs.
This proposal was put forth in a deceptive light, pretending to support free trade.
