Anti-Imperialist Nations Proposal

Purpose

To prevent the rise of Nations seeking overtly or covertly to build empires using colonies protectorates, securing these by either force of arms, bribes or threats.

We live in a dangerous world, there are terrorist attacks daily and so called 'rogue states' threaten there neighbourghs; however I believe that the real threat to international security is not such an obvious one. Imperialist Nations funded by massive corrupt economicaly driven corporations absolutey with no regard for the wider community.

Such Imperialist Nations threaten democracy itself. Lets take an example, 3 totally random letters of the alphabet U,S and A. That is our first country the large corporate controlled Imperialist Nation. Now there is nation 2 C,B,A. This is the corrupt 2nd world country ruled by the military. Nation 3, G,F,D the weak democracy. And finally nation 4 M,N,B the 'rogue state'.

So you see USA could bribe CBA, threaten GFD and invade MNB

This threat to democracy must be halted in its tracks beforre it is too late.

]Unfortunatley Lessana has not been endorsed by other UN members so I cannot propose this to the UN I am going to send this to my regional delegate to hopefully propose to the UN.

Even if you could propose, you are going to need to enact something. This, as it stands, enacts nothing... However, you may run into game-mechanics issues if you do not word it properly (The NSUN cannot make direct alteration of governmental forms, or outlaw governmental types as per the FAQ).

The first thing you need to do, is figure out exactly what provisions need to be enacted to prevent the situation you are trying to fight...

I would suggest much more work, and reaping from advise in this board for development, before constructing a final draft for submittal.

Actually, I find such actions can bhe beneficial. Despite our current war with the other half of our species, for the longest time DLE itself was considered the bastion of unity for its species due to the fact all known members of it were under the same government and acting together. Besides, a protectorate, if done right, is a nation that is independent but protected by another. Real life examples include Japan adn Taiwan.

The job of the UN is not to force nations towards democracy. However, I do love your use of letters in this.

Personally, I do not see the need for it. But others might.

The enactment would be for a regulatory body to oversee endorsements

That would be illegal due to game mechanics violations.

It's important for members not to support this bill, for the sake of the freedom of Nations, we cannot impose regulation on Nation States. The democratic process of elections to be a UN delegate are important to preserve, therefore we cannot ban rogue states who may invade and take another's regional elections over. Your proposal seems unworkable and detrimental to the democratic process.
