The legality and/or illegality of particular drugs is a national issue. As such, such a proposal would be impossible to enforce without first applying an international standard of legality.

I'm pretty sure YGSM has allies as well. Plus, if there's really going to be an RP, I think you'd make some diplomatic overtures to YGSM before targetting his capital with your presumed "two one-hundred megaton thermonuclear missiles".

And as of now, your missiles are currently being targetted by my ships. Firing them will result in said devices being shot down while still inside your borders. I would advise not targetting my allies with weapons and bragging about your level of technology. Especially when someone more advanced is nearby.

back on the original topic, the illegality of drugs is up to your nation to decide. at the moment, TLA is undecided, although we have allowed the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes. also, the UN has no army, so how can it invade drug producing nations. also, that impacts on non-NSUN nations in that you didnt say 'within the UN', which makes your proposal illegal.

We are also curious to know - what illegal drugs? Medicinal drugs, such as antibiotics and antihypertensives, are restricted but still legal. Most any drug with a recreational usage is legal, and taxed, in our nation.

You fail to explain why the drug trade needs to be stopped. We have found that a legal, regulated drug industry is far safer for the consumers and for the rest of society too, as well as being an important industry in a struggling economy such as ours.

NOTES that the Tekanian Stellar Forces currently has 10 ships in orbit enforcing a possible breach of the GEDRA Protected Planets Treaty, being commited against GEDRA-ALPHA-1(Sol-III/Earth)... And as such, would not like nukes flying through orbit near our vessels... 7 of them are 35 million MT vessels and almost 2 miles in length (3060 meters), the remaining 3 are only 1.8km in length.... We would deem such "debries" as an obstruction of Terran orbital traffic lanes, and "remove" the obstruction for the benefit of fleet operations, and any other legitimate orbital operations over GEDRA-ALPHA-1(Sol-III/Earth)

and BTW... I could care less whose nukes they were, I was going to shoot them down as they passed out of the atmosphere, and before re-entry... The NSUN floor is not a place to start a war... They can take it to II if they want a geared RP...

OOC: YGSM and I know each other on these forums, and he's effectively under my protection until he achieves space travel. The reason why I stepped in is because of the fact YGSM doesn't actually have much of a military and all of his nukes he got from me. As long as people just threaten and do not target weaponry, I see no reason for it to be excluded from posting on here. Real nations threaten war, trade sanctions, and hundreds of other items against each other all of the time and in the end the most that happens is some beaureucrat (sp?) ends up taking a higher dosage of his heart medication from overstraining himself in a verbal shouting match. Hell, half of the time I actually bluff people and have fun trying to talk my way out of having to back my bluff.

OOC: Well, I have already achieved space travel quite some time ago, however, we do not currently reside on Terra Prime but in Iota Draconis star sytem. The only thing that I have on Terra is my protectorates (mainly small nations that haven't achieved space travel to a varied degree yet.

Also, I think some people actually condone YGSU invading a smaller, helpness nation, and that is what I was attempting to stop, I was a little harsh on saying stuff about the nuclear weapons stuff when I have some shipping lanes that go around or near Terra. I still think that he shoudn't have made those comments towards Submersed because he is still very new to the game and doesn't really have an idea about how to use these forums properly.
