mandatory democracy

It has come to attention that not all of the countries are allowing elections. Yupaenu believes that every country should have mandatory elections, nomatter how small effect, even if the people are only allowed to choose what kind of pie is the national pie even if pie is banned in that country. Making democracy compulsory would benifit any kind of government too;
dictatorship-give them small fake elections, so they think that they have power over government, but don't let the results affect anything, like the pie one.
liberal- the individual people probably want a say in how the government controls it's buiseness, so that even if all buisiness is controlled by government, they can let it prosper. and the few people in the government don't know what all of the population is thinking on individual issues.
conservative-laws passed by the government may accidentally interfear with the rights of the citizen's buisnesses.
libertarian-libertarians generally believe each individual should have a say in government nomatter how small that government should be. one of their few laws may conflict with someone's way of life!

It's already been done. Here's resolution number eight:
Category: The Furtherment of Democracy
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Aschen

Description: This is a resolution to require all nations to grant self-rule to all citizen on some level. Local, Regional, or National is no matter, just so long that all citizens have some say and control over the way they are governed. These measures would promote international peace and serve as a deterent to the formation of so called "rouge nations" that to this day threaten all nations.

Next time, skim through the resolutions before you come up with an idea for a proposal. You don't need to read through every one, but just get a general idea of what we've done and what we haven't.

If you're looking for a completely new idea, try drafting a Gun Control or Recreational Drugs proposal. The UN has never even voted on one, that I'm aware of.
