I can't stand it!!!
Don't you people realize that the compulsory "Legalize" resolutions are undemocratic. The issues are obviously controversial enough to lead to a conflict; a decision one way or the other will probably have equal social contract reprecussions, so it is the right of the sovereign nation to decide.

The arguement of "National Soverignty" will win you no backers here.

Please refer to the UN FAQ for more information on the topic.

Backers? Perhaps not. Amerigoeth will need to clarify his(?) argument before I can even tell if it's valid.

Please refer to the UN FAQ for more information on the topic.

Unless Max has updated the UN FAQ recently, there is no mention of "national sovereignty" therein.

Here, however...

Not necessarily, there are nations in the UN who believe in National Soverignty (see my sig for more information).

That's why none of them ever pass.
But the category is still there, so people are going to keep trying...

Democracy is just a means to the end of securing the rights that all sapient beings deserve. When it fails to achieve that end, it has little inherent merit.

it is the right of the sovereign nation to decide.

The sole justification for the existence of governments is to provide and protect the rights of citizens. They have no right to decide to deny citizens the freedoms they deserve.
