The proposal is in please vote. I'd also like to adress some issues about this altering the game. Technically the game remains the same. All you really doing is guessing numbers. It really uses what we have such as banning and telegrams and adds a function without actually adding that function. It isn't illegal please vote on it. :sniper:

War Act
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.

Category: Human Rights
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Gyrotopia

Description: The adding of war to the game. First you declare war on a country. There is no backing out unless you want to take the ban from the region. You then inform your UN delegate and the other nations delegate if you're from different regions. The opposite (if there is an opposite) delegate gives you 4 numbers between 1-20. The object is to guess your opponents 4 numbers. You then telegram your delegate with guesses. You take turns. If you lose you are banned from your region. If a delegate attacks or is attacked a UN member agreed on by both parties is chosen. If a delegate loses he must leave the nation. You may have one ally who will recieve 2 numbers. He can help guess but if he loses e is not effected. I think instating war will not only bring more members in, but add a little fun to the game.

When a moderator locks a topic after stating that something is illegal, it generally isn't wise to start new threads on exactly the same topic. Furthermore, this proposal is entirely illegal, as it mandates specific action that must be taken by the game and other players, making this a game mechanics alteration.

Ordinarily, illegal first proposals would be simply deleted from the queue, with a possibility of a telegram from a moderator stating why (if they had time). Given that you were warned that this was illegal in advance, yet you posted it again anyway, I will take this up with Game Moderators before taking further action.

Locked for review.

From Before you make a proposal
What if a proposal kind of adds a setting like war without you having to change anything? If we use what we have like telegrams and bannings. :sniper:
Gyrotopia, you have now twice posted against topics that have been closed. You don't seem to realize that this is not permitted behavior. This will be considered in our overall response when I have time to follow up.

In the meantime, I am reopening this topic to allow other UN forum regulars to respond on why this is illegal, and to (hopefully) prevent you from opening up yet another topic on the subject.

Fris, how do you mods stay sane?
By this point, if I'd have had to deal with this, I'd be in a fetal position in the corner crying and mumbling to myself. You must have nerves of steel or something.

You want to make the war roleplaying a game of battleship, and loser gets kicked to the rejected realms and then has to move the nationstate back to the original region?

*yawn*

There's a proposal I'll be in a hurry to not endorse.

Locked for review. After review by a Game Moderator, this proposal was removed and a warning issued.

Gyrotopia, I'd strongly advise you to post your planned proposals to the UN forum for at least 24 hours before submitting them again. UN forum readers will be glad to help you formulate a better proposal, if you let them help you. Or, you could just post another one like it and get kicked out of the UN.

Your call.
