Repeal "Abortion Rights"

Description: UN Resolution #61: Abortion Rights (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.
Argument: Although the idea of the right to choose throughout the nations in the UN is one that may seem ideologically correct this truth of the matter is that, frankly, the right to legalize abortion or illegalize abortion is not, and should not, be in the power of the United Nations. Instead, the decision should be made by the sovereign administrations of each country.
Moreover, Resolution #61 is already being ignored my many UN nations, including the Empire of the Golden Throne, and for good reason. So, it would be in the best interest of the United Nations to repeal such a rediculous clause and return sovereignty to where it belongs.
Furthermore, this repealing of United Nations Resolution #61 would include that ergo, after the repeal is passed, that all rights which apply to specific states, including commerce and social rights, should be decided within the states, and therefore kept within state sovereignty, not United Nations sovereignty, as the United Nations is not one to choose for others and is not a governing body, instead a pact of sorts.

Boilerplate.

Yet another name on the grand list of "Did not read the FAQ".

Not possible. You are automatically in compliance - you cannot ignore resolutions like real nations do. It's in the FAQ.

This is even worse - tell you what. Delete your posts, read the FAQ, and try again. You have no idea how ridiculous this post makes you look in light of the FAQ.

Issues that compromise the health and well being of any person living in any nation who is a member of the UN should be addressed by the UN, and is the reason for the UN to exist.
If you base a repeal on 'soverign nations', than your repeal is baseless as far as my nation is concerned. If you want a soverign nation, do not be a member of the UN.

UN resolutions cannot be ignored in this game.
NationStates is *not* the real world where real life nations really do ignore UN resolutions. Read the stickies.
Also, I would like to add that you say this nation "ignores" resolution #61 for good reason, yet you don't elaborate on those reasons, so I am left to assume that this nation is Pro-Life and further extends my doubts to the intent of this repeal considering that many Pro Life activists are extremists.

I bunch of garbly goosh that doesn't add anything to the repeal, but allows you to use such fancy proposal words like 'ergo', and terms like 'social rights'.
