people of this forum...the Holy empire of teutonic warlords would like to be endorsed by two or more nations to propose a law that would allow the nations of the UN to arm themselves, we all know that the peoples of the world can only live in peace for so long before one stupid nation messes it up for everyone, i say that with the endorsement of more nations we arm ourselves to protect ourselves from said rogue nations who would go to war with the UN in hopes of destroying our Union, it is our duty to protect the great peoples of our united nations and when the time comes would you have our people protect themselves with sticks and stones?...i think not and we have millions to protect and fight for...thankyou

No. We do not need an arms race. Your approach guarantees war (which is generally bad). Clear enough?

Aren't we already allowed to arm ourselves?
The Armed Republic of Krioval wishes for the initiator of this discussion to read the name of our country a bit more carefully. Heck, even our national anthem is about fighting! We don't feel that we need special UN permission to construct weapons.
Oh, and in any case, to get endorsements you need to ask people from your region. There's simply no point asking the UN at large - we can't help you.

One nation in my region is in fact even more specialized. She claims that her industry only manufactures right arms. What is it with industrial prejudice these days?

Gee, I think the massive stockpiles of nuclear, thermonuclear, antimatter, and graviton missiles I have would consider me armed. So do the disruptor cannons, ion cannons, rail guns, plasma cannons, graviton cannons, and that lovely cannon I have that ignites planets.
I doubt you can help me arm myself more than I already am.
Bahgum laughs in the face of armaments and fears no nation, for we have battalions of crack mothers in law at the ready. Man knows no greater dread......
