Proposal: Military Limitations (by Karchosia)

I'm posting this proposal on behalf of my 'friend', the Armed Republic of Karchosia, despite the fact that I left the UN several months ago.
Military Limitations
A resolution to slash worldwide military spending.
Category: Global Disarmament
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Karchosia
Description: OBSERVING the amount of unnecessary military action in the world, and
REALIZING many nations are loath to give up their military strength, we
PROPOSE that nations are limited to the size of their military based on a defined percentage system and the spending.
JUSTIFYING my position by looking at the benefits of such a disarming effort. Newly independent (or newly formed) nations cannot unjustly attack larger more powerful nations.
HOPING that everyone will see the benefit and vote for such a resolution.
Wow, Karchosia's being a hypocrite again. Search all of his posts if you don't understand what I'm talking about.

Just because you are a lover of chaos and war doesn't mean everyone else is. Let the people actually in the UN vote on this issue, you aren't in it and so you have no need to get into proposals that will not concern you.
Also, are you following every single post I make? If you keep this up, I'm going to report you to the moderators.

You mention that this proposal would help stop little nations "unfairly invading" large nations, implying it is right and fair for large nations to invade small ones. The drawback of this proposal is that if you reduce a state's military capabilities to a lower level based on a percentage of a population, then the size of the military is going to become less important (to anyone not a huge nation) and they are going to have to increase the effectiveness or lethality of their militaries, i.e. going the non-conventional route, be it nuclear, chemical, biological or otherwise.
I would be against any proposal telling me how big or small my army should be. And I imagine I won't be the only one.

We would ask you never to waste our time again with such frippery, particularly with crap from someone not in the UN.

A communist nation limiting the size of its military? I think not. Maybe its unconventional for me to propose elimination of nuclear warfare, but the military? Never in communist Arabia! Let there be massive armies and more weapons development. Gyah Gyah Gyah! Muhahahahaha!
As the people say: Long live the Motherland! Long live Comrade Omar!

Excuse me? This is from Karchosia. Did you read what was outside of the proposal? Apparently not.

I'm not following every single post you make, naive one. It seems to me that you're following every single post that I make. Not only that, but you tried to invade my nation, making you the lover of chaos and war.

I have a question how to you approve a propesl?

Proposals need at least 6% of votes from UN Regional Delegates to pass. As of now, a proposal needs 144 approvals to achieve resolution status.

Thank you Vastiva, those were my thoughts exactly. I don't know why you insist on bashing every single move I make Entsteig, but it's getting extremely annoying. My suggestion is that you let me do my stuff, and I'll let you do yours.

Your first statement basically said that your proposal was crappy. It's quite funny how you must think that your proposal came from me.
Your moves deserve to be bashed. I won't bash any of your non-contradictory moves, but there seem to be absolutely none at this time.
I'm annoying? The sheer irony.
I think that this thread is in terrible taste. Personal disputes most definitely do not belong on the United Nations forum - especially when the desired goal is not reconciliation or compromise, but to provoke a strong negative response.

Agreed. Nobody here cares about your petty bickering. If you must, continue this through TGs, but leave this thread open to actual debate on the proposal.

I posted it here so it could be noticed and debated about, but Karchosia came in and started being ana|.
I was merely defending myself from his verbal attacks. Although I do apologize for possibly stepping too far, it matters not, since this won't make it to the resolution stage anyways.

Doesn't matter. I'm ending it.
