You smell that, that's the smell of change
Now many U.N members have called my people a bunch of terrorists. They vote against my views because they feel they are morrally wrong. Now, since morality is in the eye of the beholder and therefore is different from person to person, it is a form of belief. Now condemming someones beliefs is never right persicuting them for those beliefs is a clear human rights violation. By calling my people terrorists and not voting for anything we try to put up in the u.n. because of it, thats just wrong. They are forcing their beliefs on us. We must comply to their opininion and we are not entitled to our own? This is like forcing a Jew to believe in christ or an athiest to believe in God. It's just not right. Now I do not wan't to deprive someone of their opinion, unless it is slandererous
I propose, any nation in a U.N forum lobbying against a bill on the grounds the country is full of terrorists should be kicked out of the U.N.
Stop slander now.
I don't actually remember reading any proposal's you have written. Could you list a few of your most recent?
I have never lobbied against a proposal just because I didn't like the nation it came from. I have shown my support, or lack of support, based purely on how a proposal is written and the idea it presents. I find it highly ironic that you would stereotype other nations of stereotyping you.
OOC: I think this is a prime candidate to be moved on over to the I Hate UN thread where it can join it's respectful members who are also complaining that the UN sucks because their proposals aren't getting approved.

I never claimed your nation was the problem. This is not a steriotype at all. I have been called a terrorist flat out, when I was trying to pass a proposal. Several nations actually. When someone raises a concern or voices their dislike of an issue that's ok as long as their issue with the bill isn't "Don't vote for this, this country harbors terrorists." Free speach is legal, but slander is not. The same should go for the U.N. I honestly don't care if no one likes a proposal of mine, I just don't like being called a terrorist. The U.N is a place for debates not name calling. I do not feel the U.N "sucks" as you put it. It is a great place. I would quit if I hated it. By the way, I would like to thank you for voicing your complaint without calling me a terrorist or someone with evil intentions and so forth.
P.S In the future my proposals will be more professional but, you know, I didn't have much time to write this.
His propososal was that all nukes in the UN be given to his country for "disposal".
Yes, he did put it in quotes.

Northern Nukeland, come back when you have a case. You asked to have, in effect, complete control over all the nukes on Earth, or at least as many as you can get ahold of, and now you're whining because people didn't go for it, it got deleted, and you got called what you're sounding like.
The only nations I can name that try to have that much control are terrorist nations that deserve my ridicule at best and annihilation at worst.

NN, we didn't condemn you because of your beliefs, we condemned you because of your proposal. What would you do if Nargopia requested that all nukes in the world be given to us for "disposal?" Keep in mind that you and your colleagues made threatening remarks in that thread.

Many of the terms, such as terrorist, are nto without proof. Your proposal to give every nations stockpile of nuclear weapons to you was proposterous. No nations should have that much power. I did not call you such becaue of your region but because of the proposal. Next time do not play the victim without proof or good reason.

Excuse my brotherland Northern Nukeland. He is not trying to offend anyone, just to get his insane ideas passed.

Yet you have still neglected to list any of your proposals "unfairly" lobbied against.
Seeing from the other responses, however, your proposal to give all nukes to your nation will never be supported by my nation.
Never ever Ever.
Whoever you are, whoever your nation's people are, whether you harbor terroists or not, ANY variable on who you are or what you stand for will NOT sway my opinion that your proposal to give all nukes to one nation (not just yours, any one nation) is ridiculous, and unfair.

Northern Nukes, if you want to terrorist-nation roleplay I suggest you post in the International Incidents forum.

We will be shipping several freighterloads of water-soluble pharmacologicals, particularly selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI).
We are told, if introduced into native water supplies, they can cut down on outbursts like your brotherlands, substantially.

I sent a diplomat to Northern Nukeland. He talked with NN's leader... NN's leader said something dumb... my diplomat slapped him across the face and ran away. Can I have support for a rescue mission for my diplomat, who's now a fugitive on the run in NN? I can supply the pursuit ships, I figure their speed is probably necessary, but does anyone have a SWAT team I can pick up on the way? All mine are busy watching Nargopian Idol.
