Not my resolution, but the guy who made it is too lazy to make a topic here.

I've tried to tell you before, trees are evil!
Secretly they all hate us. If they could move faster, they'd kill us in our sleep.

It all came to me during this acid trip a few years ago...

So I can continue my policy of using explosives to remove trees and not replanting them?

Hasn't this already been done by the UN?

Yes. Ironically, it is called re-planting trees. However, it comes into effect after five acres are removed as opposed to a tree for a tree as proposed in this resolution.

I knew the idea sounded familiar, I just didn't want to go through the trouble of looking it up.

Now if you'll excuse me, a tree wants me to move to the back of the bus where I belong, it seems ...

The groups will form once a year to replant all trees that have been cut down.

Think of the chaos and expenses!

A bunch of woodcutters returning to every site they had been at to replant the trees once a year - you may as well say Cut trees half the year, replant trees the other half.

What happens when they clear cut to make way for houses or roads? Do they have to replant all around the house, on the road, or whatever else is built there??

Sounds to me like this resolution will restrict growth of my nation, and in turn - our economy.
