Okay, this is going to be separated into two portions: Those who use their UN nations here and those who use their nonmember nations here but are members. The second section will include, in parenthesis, the nation that player has that is a UN member. This is just to keep track of who posts here quite often for new arrivals to read.

I would recommend having some kind of notation for countries that are the delegate for their region too, but that might just be too much to keep track of.

Some regions, like the East Pacific actually make use of UN liasons, meaning contacting Loop directly isn't how they've organized their region.

Other regions rotate Delegates (frequently). The International Democratic Union is an example of that. We hold a democratic election once every 2 months and limit the number of terms per year that a nation may serve as Delegate <--- the idea being to give everybody a shot, and encourage democracy.

Your idea is good, but I'd add to it that the list should be scanned and updated with some regularity (say once every two months at least).

Agreed. The list should also be updated from announcements on here of nations leaving. I'm thinking once a month just to be sure on the regular checks.

Assuming there are no national disasters or insane resolutions, I am proud to be part of the wonder that is the UN and intend to be for the foreseable (sp?) future.

You can add Jeianga to the list, it is an active member without a puppet.

I'm active and a delagate. Not all that old or respected though. Don't know how long I'll be a delagate if my region keeps loosing members at the rate of four a week.

This USED to be my UN nation, but that distiction now falls to a puppet I created called "The Roman UN Puppet" (it's just a three-person office within Rome that serves as Rome's UN Delegation).

I read every thread, and post sometimes. This is the only forum which gets my interest in the entirity of NS. Not a delegate or anything else for that matter.

The United Socialist States of Nargopia (Bowdigity Regional Delegate) proudly plans to uphold its tradition of being an active poster, voter, and minority defender.

Pojonia makes an appearance on the issues that matter, U.N. Delegate for the Dark Realm of Unnormalcy (though not well supported) Happy cataloguing.

Though I've only been minimally active in the UN, I plan to be more active in the future. My main nation, Bitchkitten, is in the UN.

Post something on the Moderation forum about it. If enough people agree and the mods agree, it gets stickied.
