It's a conspiracy, really. Last night I saw the mods, along with a few prominent Illuminati UN members, performing multiple satanic rituals and several lines of C++ code to ensure the timing worked out. They control everything that goes on in Nationstates. It's like Disneyworld run by a 30 year old maniacal Australian who enjoys torture, bloody entrails, and long walks on moonlit beaches. Freaky-teaky.

Hey! How do you know about the UN Illuminati...uh...I mean what is this UN Illuminati of which you speak?

Hmm. Must contact the Elders and let them know of the leak...

There is no UN Illuminati, I am not a member of it, and those nice men in white coats knocking on your door are not there to take you to some Iluminati facility disguised as a mental health hospital to discredit you.

Yeah. I'm well aware of that. The thread author may not have been, though.

If someone is from a country other than the US and unfamiliar with Martin Luther King, I would be happy to point them in the right direction.

OOC: Most people know who Martin Luther King is but not everyone knows he has a day, I only found out last year from an imported daybook.

Take Mothers' Day/ Mothering Sunday In the US and UK it is months apart. It always makes me worry when adverts for mothers day things creep past my spam filter and I'm sure I bought her something in march.

:D LOL! That sort of thing would freak me out. I would probably buy her something and then she would be really confused if that had happened to me.

Surely it would only be ironic if Martin Luther King was a fascist bastard who preached intolerance and racism for all?

:) I wouldn't call that ironic, but rather appropriate. It is possible that the author may have been hoping for his / her resolution to reach the floor around this time with that day in mind, though it is more likely a coincidence.

In any event, let us consider it an appropriate tribute to the legacy of an honorable man, who gave his life in the service of grand principles! :)
