Description: It has come to the Region OF Uberdragias attention that certain countries around the world are legalizing the mass slaughter and exploitation of it's national, and rare, animals.
One such animal is Uberdragias Uberdragon, this creature is now fully protected by law of the Council OF Uberdragia, consisted of the Dictatorship of Uberdrag, The Kingdom of Derensthia, and The Holy Empire of Kelrothica, all UN members.
We, the Council Of Uberdragia are appalled by this mass mistreatement of nations endangered animals, and propose to establish an International Sacred Animal Reserve in Uberdragias lush lands to keep all the worlds national animals safe from harm, and to make all hunting and exploitation of national animals illegal by UN law.

PROPOSAL: Instate a law making all destruction of national animal life illegal, establish International Sacred Animal Reserve in Uberdragia.

For the first proposal:

This is a difficult decision, as many early economies are based on beef-eating/animal eating, which tends to be...your national animal! Personally I have banned the eating of my national animals as it is unpatriotic.

However, shouldnt this be split in two, one to ban the killing of endangered animals, especially for food, and another one to set up a zoo? I believe that this is in the UN rules.

And regarding the France one...

Simply put, against NS UN rules. There IS no France, no USA, no UK, no nation essentially from the real world in NS. READ THE RULES.

Besides, France, like any other civilized nation, has done some good to the world. I refuse to be drawn into a flame war of any kind, as this is no doubt going to start.

The one about France may be funny (not really, but hey, everyone is unique and different) but wastes the UN's time. Joke about it, but on the forums. Don't waste the mods time. It will get deleted, and your just making life harder for the fellow.

This puts restrictions on numerous things...what about hunting? What happens if I have a spider in my Presidential Bath and I squash it? What happens if I put rat poison down? What happens if a cat gets run over? And why would I want an International Sacred Animal Reserve in your country!?

Also - my National Animal is something of a nuisance...

You really think you can handle, and contain, guivres over there? They have a nasty habit of paralysing anyone who tries to keep them in a specific area.

Well, according to the Nation States News our silverback mullets have been endangered for a while as the forests are not lush in my region. A recent study by our top scientist, Bernard Floop, has revealed that the silverback mullet is actually a hairy fish. This is probably the reason it is not thriving in the forests.. go figure. Our national animal would probably be better off in our barren inhospitable forests than some reserve. Either or, it is our hairy fish, we will decide what to do with it.

I would like to know how you are going to keep the creatures from escaping. Certain native, and endangered, animals in my nation think humans make a tasty snack. And they are bad enough to actually be able to eat said snack.

Should this just be "endangered life," as this outlaws meat eating, one of the basic dietary requirements of many species.

I believe that Endangered Animals should be protected by International Laws, but if the country's national animal is not endangered, then it is their choice what to do with it.

Also, Zootropia would like to note that the 2nd Proposal is stupid in nature.
