Repeal of the definition of marriage.

I would humbly ask all members of the United Nations to have a look at my proposed repeal of the definition of Marriage. I am only stressing a degree of separation of church and state, largely to protect the rights of individuals above the rights of strong government. I feel that the current resolution is far too broad, and disenfranchises the individual, and nations that believe in the protection of the rights of individuals. Thankyou for your time esteemed ladies and gentlemen of the United Nations.

Please post the text of your repeal here. We will not be bothered with hunting it down ourselves.

Here is my general advice to anybody making a proposal or repeal.
You need to also telegram. Go to the list of Delegate Votes for the current resolution. If you feel the resolution is "liberal" pick the list of Delegates that voted against it and ask them to endorse your proposal. If you feel the resolution is "conservative" pick the list of Delegates that voted in favour of it and ask them to endorse your proposal.
This is just a basic trick to getting a repeal.
Good Luck!

Another M.O.S.S. proposal. Also, another name to add to those who didn't read the FAQ.
It's part of the UN's job to regulate this, as the UN decided it is such.

The UN loves meddling. Where else do you get your fun? Well, besides oppressing the people...
I feel that the current resolution is far too broad, and disenfranchises the individual, and nations that believe in the protection of the rights of individuals.
How does it disenfranchise individuals? The choice of who you marry is put in to your hands, not the hands of the nation of the UN. It is up to you who you marry and whether you get to marry or not.
This protects the right of individuals to marry whom they chose, so all nations should glorify it for that reason.
The only reason I can see for people really objecting to it is that the government of the nation wants to enforce its will on the people to forbid them to marry. Which is not protecting their rights.
And since that appears to be the basis of your repeal, I don't find it suitable for support.
