I couldn't find an open thread for the global library crap... debate here
Personnally I think it makes no sense, The proposed Technologies don't exist, and would cost a lot of money to produce, I voted No, just because of the gay hologram stuff, If it was a Moniter or touchscreen, that would make more sense, not some fruity Money pit

I think many people have voted yes because of the hollogram stuff. I personaly bvoted no because of that. And dont use gay as an insult it makes you look stuppid.
Paying for something via donations which is strictly unachievable is a massive waste of time, resources and money, and just asking for corruption.
You can't legislate free magic into existence.
I think a global library would be a good idea, except for the way you plan on getting money. I say, if countries dont donate, they dont get a library.

The moderation staff makes a habit of allowing just one thread per proposal up for vote, so this thread will most likely be locked.
I'd like to express though, my agreement with all of the dissatisfaction with The Global Library. I believe Great Agnostica (the authro of the proposal) is interested in drafting a repeal. Your best bet is probably to support that.
