Universal Child Adoption Law

For the furthering of Democracy and the protection of the rights of every citizen:

(1) Adoption shall be treated the same for everybody without discrimination due to gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, political ideology, or social status (as long as the adopters are capable of maintaining the child).
(2) The Creation of an International Criminal and Mentally-Unstable Database to avoid a child being adopted by someone listed in the database unless of course that individual has made unparalleled improvement.
(3) The Sponsor of Social Services that monitor the child making sure against abuse, neglect, or poverty.
(4) To make it clear that same sex couples may adopt and follow the same laws as anyone else.

To ensure safety and order:

(1) Every child will be given the same chance for being adopted despite age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or background.
(2) Every orphanage and foster care center are required to meet standards imposed by member nations.
(3) An annual check on each employee at a foster care center and orphanage in order to improve quality, prevent abuse, and diminish the chances of neglect.

This Proposal was written by the Democratic Republic of Cosmia, and was proposed by Hessen Nassau. If you have any suggestions on how to improve this proposal please contact either one of the Authors. Thank You.

(1)define "capable of maintaining the child".
(2)what about criminals that their crime has no connection to child maintaining, like treachery or dangerous driving?
(3)fine with me
(4)don't you already said it in (1)?
(1) Every child will be given the same chance for being adopted despite age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or background.
(1) so you make people adopt childrens they don't want?
and what with people that prefer raise child that is more like them?

this was my comment on your proposal, in the previous thread you were opened. since you wasn't changed the proposal, why are you open new thread?

Someone who lies and betrays his country is fit to raise a child? Someone who is happy to drive like a lunatic and endanger lives all over the road is a fit person to raise a child?

Alas, they already do :-P

But I don't have an opinion on this proposal per se.

No, that's exactly what's meant by that clause.

Hello, isn't adoption a private matter?
Why are we involving the NSUN in this?

Before you say anthing more about my driving style, let me assert that I am an excellent driver!

p.s. I have never actively betrayed my country. but the frequencies are patterned according to 3201 mhz, 2914 mhz, 4497 mhz, etc.

as I see it, today most of the people who want to adopt, choose child from one kind. if you want that different childs get equal chance for adoption, you make people choose between childrens they don't want.
I can't see other meaning for that Clause.

First of all the other thread was some how closed - thats is why a new one was opened.
Secondly, this argument brew over Part 2 clause 1 - "(1) Every child will be given the same chance for being adopted despite age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or background."
- this is to stamp out discrimination in the adoption process. In many countries some children of different cultural, religious or racial background from the potential adoptive parents have often been kept away from the 'viewing process' and therefore have no chance of getting picked. Also, these children often live in different childrens' homes while they are waiting to be adopted - another reason why adoptive parents wouldnt be able to see them if they went to only 1 home.
Just because the adoptive parents are from one ethnic or religious group and the child is from another - doesnt mean that they won't love him/her as their own!
This is not the case of force the adoptive parents to choose a child they dont want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are involving the NSUN in this as there are serious and unethical processes towards adoption in many countries through out the world. Also, there are many serious flaws in the system that leave children being abused, bullied, segregated and even killed!
Don't you think we should give the kids a chance? If the national governments ignore this isue then it is up to us, the NSUN, to stamp this out and make sure member countries cant brush this under the carpet!!!!

as I know, adopters ask from the welfare system to adopt kid from one kind mostly, because that make his raising much easier.
this would harm chances of other kids to adoption.
you never could give all the childrens home, unless you make people adopt kids. if people see, that they had to go through too muce regulate system, and sometimes they had to see other kids after they choose, they adopt less.
just take care of the non-adoption kids.

We are not trying to get all children adopted - to give them the same chance at being adopted.
And the regulations are in there for those still in childrens homes
