Did you know that accourding to the 2000 UN data sheet the Modern industial nations ie Western Europe, US, Japan have a negitve population rate ontop of that currently they make up only 5% of the world populations yet control over 90% of the world's energy and resources. This is glutany. We have the technology why not send these greedy nations out to the numberalbe of terroformible worlds. That is my proposal. The advatages are simple it will alow the rest of the world to expand and modernize then tehy will leave the result is selfcontained colonies on other worlds and a pristine Earth. I stop short of demanding that Earth eventually become one giant nature preserve. What do you think.

You do realize that this is NationStates, not real life and the nations you mentioned don't exist here.

RL references, not valid in a proposal. If you are going to use references, find NS references.

This is glutany.

Or good politics, practices, and deal-cutting by those nations.

We have the technology why not send these greedy nations out to the numberalbe of terroformible worlds.

1) The majority of the UN doesn't have that tech.

2) Moving entire nations at once is not as easy as you make it out to he.

3) Just because it can be terraformed doesn't mean it has or that you have the tech to do it in a short amount of time.

That is my proposal. The advatages are simple it will alow the rest of the world to expand and modernize then tehy will leave the result is selfcontained colonies on other worlds and a pristine Earth.

Take a look at the US to get an idea of how a back-water half-developed country managed to transform itself. Besides, you'd only end up with the same problems again and having to eventually export all nations.

I stop short of demanding that Earth eventually become one giant nature preserve. What do you think.

Does this mean all humans on it can only wear furs and must use only rocks and sharpened sticks for weapons?

I view this proposal as unworthy of UN consideration.

I know! You need a whole fleet of helicopters!

Sorry, just couldn't resist.
