Has the UN discussed abortion yet? Will I get to vote on it as an issue?

Abortion Rights (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=UN_past_resolutions/start=60), passed Jun 5 2004
UN Resolutions throughout history (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=UN_past_resolutions)

If you look first, you won't have to ask afterwards. It's not that tough to search through the passed UN list.

If you aren't happy with what you find, you do have the option to propose a repeal which would remove the resolution from the books and leave the issue open to new legislation.

Because of course, posting a smiley representation of shooting us is going to make us more amenable to your political ideas.

If you're looking to repeal on one of these issues, you won't get anywhere fighting gay marriage. You might get more support for a repeal of the abortion law, since many pro-choice nations feel that the existing legislation goes too far and we need to allow for regulation.
