One major problem with cities is that they have 30-40 childern for every classroom. Which means there is less attention for every student, and the teachers have more test to grade, students to deal with, ect. And the source of this major problem......Housing Devolpments! That's right! Since companies buy out farm lands and pack so many house together in such a small place, there is going to be more people moving into a city. So:
:) = :fluffle: = = :D :D :D
More people= more families= more childern= more students
So what I propose is that companies that build the housing devolpments must PAID FOR A NEW CLASSROOM FOR EVERY 15-20 HOUSES. This will prevent class sizes in the local area from increasing and help schools deal with the more students.

Good idea in theory, but how do you expand a school. Are you going to expand the school to include one classroom? I like the idea, but I think it needs to be thought out more, no offense or anything.
I am going to be a teacher myself, abd I agree with the points made.

Sheebus! Having less housing developments doesn't mean you have less people. It just means you have the same number of people crammed into an apartment together, or living in their parents' homes. Or the same number of people living without homes.
All you're going to do is stunt the real-estate industry.
Plus national sovereignty and all that.

Thats another really good point.
To the nation who proposed this, it probably won't pass on it's first try. I have submitted many proposals, and my recent proposal finally got passed. My point is, it might seem like we are giving you a tough time, but keep the chin up, and rewrite the proposal. :):) This is hopefully friendly input that will help strengthen your proposal.

For those of you who can't figure out how this whole system will work, it could that the housing (not apartments) companies design where and how many houses there will be. With that amount of houses, the company will paid a set amount of money for every 15-20 houses, which should be enough to build the classroom and furnish it, (hiring teachers will be part of the school districts job). If there is a large amount of houses going up in serveral fairly nearby area, the money will go to build a completely new school. But if it is just one area, then the classroom would be an expandion of the school.

What if the only expansion needed would be one classroom, that seems rather tough to just add one classroom onto a school. I doubt it will pass the first time trough, most proposals do not pass the first time.
I would recommend posting your porposal on the forums for the pacific regions, and I would also recommend TGing delegates.

See, the thing about housing devolpments is that there is NEVER a small amout of houses being built. On adverage there is possible somewhere around 50, (since alot of them are being built on farm lands, there is alot of room). So there wouldn't be just one classroom going up. But if there is, the money should be redirected into going towards helping out the schools with supplies and such.
