Well, did you happen to see it the week repeals came into effect? There was one guy who wanted to repeal everything, went through and submitted blank arguments for more than 10 resolutions.

I'm not sure if you caught this, TH, but I think that that was the point. He/she is trying to say that the mods would have deleted it if there were no argument (if they were not on vacation). :p

"Illogical logic" at it's best.

Repeal "Stop dumping - Start Cleaning"
A proposal to repeal a previously passed resolution

Category: Repeal
Resolution: #35
Proposed by: Barkentine

Description: UN Resolution #35: Stop dumping - Start Cleaning (Category: Environmental; Industry Affected: All Businesses) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: The majority of UN members are weak, developing nations.

They require industry to boost their economy, so that once they are strong, they may protect the environment.

At this rate, they are so poor, from lack of strong industry, they are not able to protect the environment in any other way.

This repeal is for the protection of the environment. This bill makes it impossible for LEDC's to do anything positive.

Approvals: 7 (Bfun, Kandarin, Signamarcheix, The Dancing Butterfly, WZ Forums, Barkentine, Walarah Cun Cana)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 138 more approvals)

Voting Ends: Tue Dec 21 2004

"Did not read the FAQ"

Repeal "DVD region removal"
A proposal to repeal a previously passed resolution

Category: Repeal
Resolution: #5
Proposed by: South Shields

Description: UN Resolution #5: DVD region removal (Category: Free Trade; Strength: Mild) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: The UN has no right to interfere in matters of business. This is a matter solely for the World Trade Organisation to deal with, and National Governments between themselves. The Agenda of the UN should be purely to improve the quality of life for the citizens of the world, and should do it's utmost to avoid interfering with the politics and affairs of individual nations, unless this is requested or is absolutely necessary (ie. There is no credible alternative.)

Approvals: 6 (South Shields, Signamarcheix, WZ Forums, Beld, Melmond, Baribeau)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 139 more approvals)

Voting Ends: Tue Dec 21 2004

Repeal "Common Sense Act II"
A proposal to repeal a previously passed resolution

Category: Repeal
Resolution: #30
Proposed by: South Shields

Description: UN Resolution #30: Common Sense Act II (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Significant) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: This is in complete contravention of State rights, and the UN charter.

The UN has no right to interfere with the Judiciary or structure of the legal system in any member nation.

Domestic legislation is the responsibility of each Nation's Government alone, and the burden does not, and can not interfere with any Nation's domestic agenda.

The Domestic legislation of any member nation must be solely the responsiblity of that Nation's Government, as the legislation should reflect the morals, beliefs and attitudes of that particular nations population, not the agenda of other UN Nations.

Approvals: 3 (South Shields, WZ Forums, JayRoddia)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 142 more approvals)

Voting Ends: Wed Dec 22 2004

I thought the zombie one was kind of useful. We keep having odd zombie attacks in TilEnca. (But we mostly use well placed arrows to keep them down, rather than guns. Causes while zombies can operate guns to some degree, they SUCK at using a bow and arrow. I think it's a manual dexterity thing)

Wake up, you fools!
Repeal "Stop dumping - Start Cleaning"
A proposal to repeal a previously passed resolution

Category: Repeal
Resolution: #35
Proposed by: Political Type Stuff

Description: UN Resolution #35: Stop dumping - Start Cleaning (Category: Environmental; Industry Affected: All Businesses) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: We're getting pissed off. Read this sentence from the resolution: "Make it illegal, where not already, to dump wastes of any sort into public water systems."

Now why the heck can't a measly 6% of regional delegates support a repeal of this resolution. IT MEANS NO SEWER SYSTEMS, PEOPLE! IT MEANS THAT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT, CITIZENS ARE DUMPING HUMAN FECES ON ONE ANOTHER OUT THEIR WINDOWS BECAUSE THIS STUPID RESOLUTION DOESN'T ALLOW CITIES TO HAVE SEWERS! WOULD YOU ACTUALLY READ THESE DARN THINGS INSTEAD OF PASSING NEW RESOLUTIONS, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT YOU MIGHT CONSIDER SACRED?!?!?

Sorry, it's just that this is the third time we've proposed this and haven't even gotten a quorum yet. WAKE UP!
I've fallen, and I can't get my diversity up!
Immigration
A resolution to improve world security by boosting police and military budgets.

Category: International Security
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Geminius

Description: Country's should be able to control who enters its borders. Diversity is the fall of many nations.
Another failure of Diversity Training:
Repeal "Gay Rights"
A proposal to repeal a previously passed resolution

Category: Repeal
Resolution: #12
Proposed by: Yuke

Description: UN Resolution #12: Gay Rights (Category: Human Rights; Strength: Strong) shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: Gay Rights is a complete abomination it has no right in any nation if we repeal this issue than we can completly eliminate Gays and if any are seen toghether they sould be executed on the spot if people want to be with are of the same sex then just go get a sax changing operation so as not to arouse peoples attention.Gays say they want privacy will they dont need it if they are going to be with the same sex.If they simply get a sex changing operation there will be one less law we have to go through to get things done.
Bet you can't get enough Approvals for this one:

The title of the thread is a joke, Jjuulliiaann. Even if they don't get to these, they'll all expire unapproved anyway. We're just posting these for our own amusement ... (except the Gay Repeal - that one I reported for failing the "Kill 'em all" rule).

If you find inappropriate/illegal proposals, report them through the Getting Help Page. Spamming the UN forum with them just makes mods annoyed at you.
