If anyone has any suggestions concerning this draft proposal, please let me know.

This is my first draft proposal, and I have followed the posted rules governing acceptable proposals as much as I could. Any commentary is appreciated. :)

The Draft Follows:

-------------

Proposal for a U.N. Resolution regarding the Exercise of Powers

Fair Administration and Non Discrimination

In the exercise of any power, the United Nations, and every agency, organization and officer thereof, acting on the behalf thereof, or acting with the authority thereof, shall fairly, evenly, and appropriately exercise such power when interacting with any person or government, without regard to the race, ethnicity, gender, of any person or any political consideration (including, but not limited to, the outcome of any conflict, or the ideology of any government).

Practical Limitations Recognized

The United Nations, and every agency, organization and officer thereof, acting on the behalf thereof, or acting with the authority thereof, shall not pursue any investigation, prosecution, or otherwise exercise any power unless there exists a sufficient factual basis and a good faith motive on the part of the actor(s) exercising such power.

Sounds good, but it seems like 2 issues to me:

1. Discrimination
2. Control of Power

You may not be legal with that second one, as it limits or requires members to do something via roleplay, but I may be wrong on this one.

Elaborate the first one, and I'd like to see the details on the second

Again, I would like to see elaboration on both points, but I do not see a problem with either. Your inclusion of the words 'good faith motive' in the second point will allow people to RP freely because they can say that they thought what they were doing was right - no problem there.

I like it and, with more detail, you will have my vote.

From What i read the...

1# Is Moreless Anti-Racism :)
2# Is Power Control

With a bit more information this will get my vote.

Ok... why?

why enact provisions concerning anti discrimination and the fair use of power? I submit the better question is "why not?!" :)

Thanks to all who have suggested elaboration and detail; I shall work on this and post an updated draft.

If you have any suggestions as to how I should elaborate (or indeed, and suggestions regarding the actual wording), please let me know.
