Stem Cell Research Provision

*Noting that the UN by a large majority voted for Stem Cell Research.
*Noting that that resolution required the affected governments to fund said research.
*Noting that not all governments agree with passed resolution to some extent or another.
*Noting that many countries thrive on capitalistic endeavors.

Therefore let it be that there may be a provision for nations's affected by the recently passed UN resolution to have the alternative of allowing said research to be done by private, corporate, and independent organizations, labs, or companies. Let it be noted that this will not be a loop-hole to ban said research, but to merely provide an alternate source of finances for it. May countries be free and not be required to fund Stem Cell Research through taxation of the people, but through private sources.

This is not a resolution against stem cell research, but merely an alternative to the required government funding of it. Please give me your thoughts and hopefully your support on this proposal.

No can do. It's an illegal amendment as written. You'd have to repeal the prior resolution first.

Read some of the other topics on this subject, please. There are plenty of other answers and/or loopholes that would work far better than this. Besides, in my nation, the Corporations ARE the government. This sort of thing doesn't address all the possibilities.

Wrong. It never said you have to fund it under all circumstances.

Hmm.

Illegal. This is an amendment to a resolution. NS doesn't allow that.

Actually, the government is only required to fund it if they research it. So, really, you don't have to fund it at all. Oops.
