I beg you to approve this proposal! I am sure that most of you have had proposal's rejected because of the ridiculous amount of approvals needed. The proposal is as follows:

Reduce Delegate Approval
A resolution to increase democratic freedoms.

Category: The Furtherment of Democracy
Strength: Strong
Proposed by: Pissflap

Description: I propose that we reduce the amount of votes needed to put legislation to vote. As it stands, each proposal needs 141 approvals from UN delegates to be put to vote. This is too high a number, as many pieces of legislation are not put to the vote by every member of the UN. Reducing this number will help us bring important issues to vote, and therefore create a more democratic way of passing legislation.

Approvals: 3 (Pissflap, JS Nijmegen, Saint Les)

Status: Lacking Support (requires 138 more approvals)

Voting Ends: Mon Dec 6 2004

So please get approving quickly, we don't have much time left.

Illegal..... Game Mechanics... it'll be deleted.

Anyway, as it stands, it only takes about 6% of the delegates at present... No reason to make it lower...

Yeah, there are always 1 or 2 out of every 100 he does not approve... Though, there doesn't seem to be any logical connection as to why he approves or disapproves anything in particular... I think when he goes on his approval binges, he accidently skips one here and there.

Nah. So far, all of the ones he hasn't approved are proposals that wouldn't pass no matter how much alcohol and weed was in people's systems. I think he dodges the absolute bottom of the barrel when approving.
