Band Together To REPEAL Citizens Rule
Let us all please not pretend as if all countries in the UN let alone all delegates are ruled by the citizens.
Repeal this or at least think about it.

Hmmm...I don't really see that there is any possibly compelling reason to repeal this except a concern for national sovereignty. Which is reason enough for me, but I'm probably one of an incredibly tiny minority on that issue, so don't expect widspread support. :)

The resolution just says at some level citizens should have a say in who rules them. It doesn't say that it has to be democractic or even fair. So (if I were to become a dictator, which is somewhat unlikely) I could say "you have a choice about the ruler of the country. You can vote for me. Or you can vote for this sock puppet I made last night. It's a totally free vote and up to you".
So they would have a say in how they were ruled. Either by me or by the Sock Puppet of Doom (tm).
I think that fulfills the obligations of the resolution, don't you?
