I propose, though this may be already be a resolution im not going to look though the 100s to find out but what about funding for cloning research to help bring back animals from the brink of extinction, though the chupacabre runs free in the wilds of my country ivs noticed that many animals are on the verge of extiction.
with culinary tastes and deforestation this may be our last chance to save some unique and precious animals from the brink

just a thought

I think he is asking if The UN would welcome a proposal to try to bring back species that are either extinct or on the edge of extinction by the means of cloning and other genetic manipulation type things.

Oh well.

First, it would depend on how they got extincted. and if the ecosystem could still support them.

I asked Des if she would support such a thing and she doesn’t seem to receptive.

As I recall there is a national issue generated over time that brings this topic up and gives at least two ( of course ) methods of dealing with the idea. There-fore I fail to see the need for any kind of U.N. involvement in contributing funds / organisation when national governments are already capable of deciding in the interests of their citizens and national animal heritage.

The " chupacabre " huh ? Have any trouble with your sheep and other smaller animals being slaughtered in the night ? ;)
