Upon reaching queue, PUNNS conducted a poll spanning two days (November 23 to 25), of 216 non-delegate members of the United Nations. It revealed these results:

Question: What position do you plan to take on the resolution "Separation of Church and State" when it reaches the U.N. floor for voting?

VOTE FOR: 55%
VOTE AGAINST: 44%
DID NOT RESPOND: 1%

I doubt it. A fair number of conservatives will be for it as will most liberals. Many people who just click on the FOR button will also help bump it up.

That's not always true. In fact, in the first 55 minutes of voting on the "Definition of Marriage" act, the percentage was split or leaning toward "Vote Against". It wasn't until about three hours out that that precentage ripped open in favor of the resolution. However, in retrospect, the time it takes for a resolution to start leaning one way or another depends on how many people vote on it during those first few hours - because there is a disturbinly dense crowd of people who vote for whatever side is winning.

That last bit would be what I was talking about earlier with "pattern voting".
