Re: New Stem Cell Research Poll

A survey conducted from November 22 to November 24, with a random sampling of 214 U.N. non-delegate members has revealed these results:

[214 U.N. non-delegate member nations, 4% MoE]

Question: As a member of the United Nations, what position do you plan to take on the resolution "Stell Cell Research" when it reaches the floor for voting on Friday?

VOTE FOR: 76%
VOTE AGAINST: 22%
DID NOT RESPOND: 2%

I'll say 16 to 18 thousand votes in total on this one, with a 70% yes/30% no split, +/- 5% MOE.

Yes, I'm cribbing here. ;) Damn but he's good.

I've been archiving links to the threads related to resolutions in the UNA files for some time now, and I'm very interested in the PUNNS forecasts. Furthermore, I'd be just as interested if another nation were to conduct an independent survey and telegram large numbers of nations asking about proposals. This all falls in line with my other work and I hope to see this continue.

Well, this is all projections without me lifting a finger, today is a national holiday in the US, Thanksgiving, and I think Im just going to give it a rest. Tommorow however, my resolution hits the floor, and Im going to start getting votes and converting skeptics. After this resolution, Im going to go on vacation mode for a bit. Getting a proposal to a resolution to a passed resolution is hard work...
