Fellow UN Members, Delegates and Non Aligned Countries.

We must act now.
There are criminals among us.
We the Ruling Council of St Parky urge you to aprove our proposal that those citizens who commit violent and serious crimes should have their human rights revoked.

Lets treat then as they deserve.

Enough of these soft states and prisoners rights. :headbang:

endorse the Serious Crimes Act

Erm..... let me think.

No. It's a bad idea. Sorry. I realise it is something you feel strongly about, but this is about as bad an idea I have seen in a long while.

Does that help?

Er, no. They already have enough social problems with my honest citizens trying to kill them without someone taking away what few rights they have left. Besides, I execute those who deserve it and the rest make excellent, if short-lived, laborers on the Terrator Orbital Platforms.

Isnt this doing exactly what I suggest????

In St Parky a Rapist can only attack once, as we sentence them to live without thier tool (no pun intended) of choice. This removal is done by the victim if they so wish.

Please remember to vote guys.

I will remember to vote. Just not so much "vote for" as "vote against" :}

The only reason they are short-lived is because orbital platforms are extremely dangerous, but the only place they are safe from the population. If the spacial radiation, occasional ion storm, radiation from nuclear power plants, or meteors and comets don't kill you, then the nutrition problems spending most of your time in that little gravity or a mutated pathogen will. And that's ignoring inmate riots and attacks from other nations.

They still have their civil rights, which is why I don't simply toss them to the law-abiding citizens.

I have to admit, this is quite amusing :}

You really think there is no line between executing someone and giving them a medal? Or you can either castrate someone or let them go?

(And, btw - I can be that liberal, but I am guessing that wasn't what you meant).

We put people in prison. We treat them decently, and endeavour to rehabilitate them. Then, when they have served their time, we release them.

Someone once said you can judge a nation by the way they treat their elderly, their prisoners and their pets. We took that to heart and we believe we are a better nation for it.

I don't have prisons. I simply drop them off on the orbital platforms in space suits, give them the location of the safe habitats, and they work for food and shelter. There are no guards because, frankly, where can they go? The automated ship production plants are guarded by a first-level knowbot with all entrances covered by disruptor cannons and the only planet they can reach without a ship will result in them either burning up in atmosphere or being killed by the fall. And due to my location in space and attitudes of the neighbors, I don't exactly have much to worry about when it comes to someone trying to help them escape.

Demonlord

my apologies, the comment wasnt aimed you, your systems sounds good if a little lenient. its a start.

perhaps you should give then the location of a space suit and let them go. im sure this would clarify thier minds a little.

St Parky believes if they can be useful then they need something cutting off.
