I have created a new proposal entitled "International Wildlife Areas"

This proposal entends to assit in the protection of environmentally sensitive and important areas worldwide, particularly those which cross national boundaries, through the creation of the United Nations Agency for Conservation of the Environment (UNACE).

I encourage all those interested in improving the quality of our current ecosystems, and also the protection of sensitive ecosystems to approve this submittal, so that it may come before a vote before the general assembly. I strongly believe that there is more than ample support for this resolution worldwide and ask you to join us.

My apologies. I am new to this, so please bear with me.

Description: WHEREAS particular areas of land, representing specific diverse biocultures, need to be preserved and protected,

and

WHEREAS there is currently no international system to protect these environmentally important areas,

and

WHEREAS these areas often overlap from nation to nation and region to region,

THEREFORE the UN creates the United Nations Agency for the Conservation of the Environment (UNACE) to manage areas of environmental conservation that extend beyond the borders of single nations.

This management shall include, but is not limited to definition of International Wildlife Areas (IWAs), establishment of endangered and threatened species, control of development within these areas, and the hearing of all disputes related to both International and National Wildlife Areas worldwide.

In addition, UNACE shall have the power to assist nations with areas of conservation within their own border.
