Support for Proposal Wanted

UN Regional Delegates:

I am asking for your support for my UN Resolution Proposal to repeal resolution #28, "Free Education".

While I fully support education, I have found while skimming the UN records that this issue basically restates issue #3, "Education For All". The only difference is that resolution #3 defines the age that the state needs to be responsible for a persons' education as 16, #28 defines it as 18.

Why not repeal resolution #3? Because I feel that some nations in the UN cannot take the stress of having to provide, thorugh taxation, free education for it's citizens throught the age of 18. 16 seems to be quite an acceptable age to me, and one much more tolerable to the budgets of our less economically affluent nations.

If you read the resolution, you'll also see that I reference resolution #79, the "Reformed Literacy Initiative", which establishes that member nations must provide capability for all citizens to learn their mother tounge in reading and writing.

If you want more details, please read my resolution.

I feel that these three resolutions togeather are more than is warranted to acheve the goal intended. There is too much red tape, in other words.

So, I'm asking for your support to trim the burocratic fat and streamline international law.

Thank you.

There are a blue million proposals out there - please post the text of yours. Also, generic titles like Support for Proposal Wanted don't do much to tell us why we want to read your proposal. Tell us what's in it next time, please.

All right. I'll re-post it.
