The proposed UN resolution on the Ban Of Nuclear Weapons is good in theory but needs a lot of work.
This resolution has several flaws in that it is not detailed enough. In relation to clause1-which UN body will ensure the disarmament of nuclear weapons? If UN inspectors are denied access to a couintry suspected of having nuclear weapons-this resolution does not give any information on how the inspectors will be allowed gain access
*Clause 4- An appropriate commission will establish the modalities of dismantling of the nuclear armaments; all the states members will have the duty to respect them.
^how will members be appointed to this commission?
Who will be appointed?
What if a member of the commission is from a nuclear producing country?
I also wish to make an amendment to this resolution..I need another endorsement.. can someone help me?
