Although I am not a fully endorsed UN Delegate, as a member I have a suggestion to whichever delegate would consider it for proposal to the UN.

Throughout the history of UN Resolutions, I have seen that many issues repeat themselves or are of the same concerns, in the cases of Resolutions #13, #18, #23, #34-35, #36, #39, #52, #58, #66, and #'s 70-72, it is the enviroment and widlife, so therefore, I would like to reduce the UN's paperwork, by compiling these resolutions into 1, clear, concise, resolution that addresses all these concerns in their capacities.

United Nations Resolution #80
THE UNITED NATIONS ECOLOGICAL AND ENVIROMENTAL PROTECTION ACT

The Original Proposers are:
Techno Prisoners
Kibombwe
Jacobstalia
Giedi
Whoway
Judaicland
The Lords of the Isles
Jamalya

Description: This proposal is to protect the enviroment and the wildlife in all the member nations of the United Nations, by creating a Enviromental and Ecological Protection Commission, this commision creating:

A. A National Wildlife Bureau
1.protect endangered wildlife
2.regulate the hunting and fishing of wildlife
3.record, track, and assist on subjects such as the health and welfare of wildlife
B. The Bureau of Enviromental Protection & Restoration

2.Initiate recycling and re-forestation programs throughout the world

I know this probably isn't in its proper, final form, I would appreciate any comments, whether constructive or critical.

First, I've already done this for you (the UN) and a summary of just the environmental resolutions can be read (and printed easily) from the United Nations Association Archive:

Ack, I'm looking at the file now and see that this is *not* the most recent Environmental update. I'll email Tuesday Heights, a co-founder of the United Nations Archive Association and she'll put up the updated pdf.

Second, Jamalya retired months ago. While the idea for a Ballast Water resolution came from that nation, 95% of the text came from the Confederated City States of Mikitivity. My government would be happy to defend that resolution should any technical debate, especially discussions related to international shipping or invasive species protection, occur. Basically my government is claiming to be a co-author ... but the idea and campaigning (i.e. the hard part) were the work of Jamalya. The UN floor debate however, rested heavily on my nation's UN staff.

The NSWiki project does contain some of the backstory behind some UN resolutions, but Frisbeeteria and I have not yet started tackling many of the Environmental resolutions or Environmental committees.

Several of the other nations that are authors for these Environmental resolutions are gone. In fact, UN authors tend to disappear after a few months. :(

Specifically you may want to look at:

It would be great to actually rebuild some of the inactive UN committees, and if the nations that created some of these committees are gone, I think it would be appropriate for a new nation to "assume" the headquarters of these committees and show some roleplaying interest in the activities of that committee.

I've sort of adopted an interest in the IRCO, which you can see if you poke around NSWiki a bit. :)
