Calling All Delegates! Repeal 'legalize Prostitution'

I have recently proposed a repeal of the Legalize Prostitution Act. (page 2 on the proposal listings)

Whether you agree with legal prostitution or not, it is not my wish to debate this issue. The reason for my proposal is to ensure that member countries do not lose their power to govern freely. If we let a proposal like this stand, where will the UN draw the line? I believe that this is an issue best left to individual members. If you agree with me, please vote to strike down this proposal. Thank you for your time.

I agree, unfortunatly most Delagates dont understand the seriousnes of UN dictatorship. The UN can not stop allow a country to build any economy it wishes. The job of the UN is to support peace and human rights. prostitution is not a human right.

It is appalling how much the current UN resolutions combine to interfere with our national sovereignty. UN Members should bear in mind that we are separate states that belong to a worldwide organization, and that we are not provinces of one large federation.

Gordonopolis, thanks for the TG, by the way...can you support my repeal of the 3rd Resolution, if you are a delegate or become one?

I'll have my current delegate take a look at it. Thanks for the support guys.

Two things:

1) It is the right of no government to prohibit consensual sexual activities.

2) At least in _Myopia_, legal prostitution is handled in such a way as to be more beneficial to the prostitutes than illegal prostitution. They are better off, safer, and more free.
