You can better protect your country by giving your approval to my resolution Free Speach Zone. Don´t give those people that are aiming to overthrow you any chances and get on board now and give your approval
Copy of proposal:
Free Speach Zone
A resolution to restrict political freedoms in the interest of law and order.
Category: Political Stability
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Zormonia
Description: Free Speach Zone´s are becoming more and more important. They allow goverment´s to relocate protestors to remote corners where there protest will go un noticed. This is important for politicians that will not have to live in fear for there opinions any more and it deters the risk of terrorists using protestors as a mean to attack.
Approvals: 4 (Coolet, Entropisburg, Pineapple Joe-bot, Humanitty)
Status: Lacking Support (requires 131 more approvals)
Voting Ends: Sat Oct 16 2004
Awful proposal. Awful premise, awful spelling, awful suggestion....

Hmmm...what is there to say about such a proposal?
It's an interesting idea...
It would never pass...
Ummm...national sovereignty, anyone?

:D that is my reason for voting against almost every resolution except those which give my people MORE rights.

Just a personal pet peeve - you don't make nouns plural with apostrophes. An apostrophe is used for the possessive.
Example:
governments - plural of government
government's - possessive of government; i.e. of or belonging to the government
Also,
their - of or belonging to them
there - a place, like "over there"

I have no wish to protect my country from evil, since that would require leaving. On the other hand, your proposal clearly is evil...
However, I still don't like it.

Quite aside from the flak you have received about the proposal - if enough people in my nation think I should leave my job, then maybe I SHOULD leave my job. Isn't that what democracy is all about?

Indeed. And what's evil about peaceful political protest?

Apparantly the fact that it's annoying for closed-minded dictators.

And I thought resolutions were supposed to IMPROVE lives of the citizens of UN nations...

Didn't the misspelling of speech get on your nerves? :P
As for the proposal, I find it thoughtless.

I would have given it serious consideration had you spelled "speech" correctly.

Since the United Nations is a democratic organization, what makes you think we aren't going to let people protest our decisions? If what you say is passed, that means any opposition voiced here in response to proposals and/or resolutions would be against UN law. That's ludicrous!
"Free Speech Zones" are what are needed in fascist empires and anti-democratic. It's not imposition against evil, needing "Zones" are in fact evil in and of themselves. If a person cannot take public aversion and protest of their policies, then they have no business in government.
