Impact of Moral Decency Resolutions

FYI:

The Moral Decency "Mild" resolution did not change my UN Classification nor my Civil Freedoms, which were "Superior", but the cumulative impact of that along with the most recent Moral Decency "Strong" resolution did in fact change my UN Classification to "Capitalist Paradise" and my Civil Freedoms to "Excellent".

For some time I've maintained that "Mild" resolutions are not a significant enough impact to warrant worrying about the resolution classification. Now I think most nations favoured the game text of the Strong resolution over the Mild resolution and did not care about the game stats change (even nations which had once claimed they would never "ever" vote in favour of a Moral Decency issue).

I did manage to capture the Delegate voting records prior to the end of voting this time and will publish those records in the IDU forum tonight! Feel free to stop by, as I plan to continue to track UN Delegate voting records and as always will be happy to share these voting records.

Excellent! I had wanted to look at the voting records as well.

Please, could you dispel my ignorance? What is the IDU and how would I find it?

It is the political group to which a number of proactive UN members belong to. It stands for International Democratic Union (http://s4.invisionfree.com/The_IDU/index.php), which means all of the nations that choose to join this group (which is open to all) simply agree to allow democratic proceedures govern over our nations and international agreements.

(I put the link in the name above.)

The tool I think many UN proposal writers will find useful is still in development:

UN Delegate Contact List (http://s4.invisionfree.com/The_IDU/index.php?showtopic=38)

Naturally I encourage use of this list, and plan to seek out more open minded and friendly UN Delegates and regions.

I'll need to find a way to display the voting records, as they are long, but I certainly would be happy to share them with you. :)
