Fellow countries we can not let the latest issue infront of the UN pass!

This is just a vailed attempt to prevent countries getting nuclear weapons to maintain our national security!

By accepting this you just give more power to the countries which already have nuclear weapons.

Please throw out this issue and create a new one that actualy takes on terrorism!

Nuclear weapons are just two edged swords... We could cope with one exploding, or two,or maybe ten...
And then we would rejoice to the fact that we can read our newspapers in a pitch black night thanks to our inherent glow.

I must say, that gives one a warm fuzzy, radiating feeling...

You can't solve things conventionally? You can't solve things at all!

The honourable delegate from Tdas is respectfully requested to put the crack pipe down.

The NTA prohibits providing nuclear technology to terrorists and strongly discourages it to other extranational organizations.

Is the legitimate government of an emerging nation an extranational organization? No.

Is the legitimate government of an emerging nation a terrorist organization? In all likelihood, no.

Is your ranting by way of objection legitimate? No.

Sit down, John, sit down.

I must ask though, what will the UN do if this act is violated? No where in the NTA does it discuss possible actions to take against countries who covort with terrorists. Seconldy, Does this Act make it alright for countries to trade conventional or Biochemical weapons with terrorists? Perhaps a more comprehensive proposition should be put forward.

We are of two minds on the latest UN resolution. Since we favour the complete and immediate elimination of all nuclear weaponry, we favour this resolution. Terrorist Group is not defined, which means that we can insist all nations and groups are suspected terrorists, thus allowing the complete halt to the nuclear weaponry industry.
Of course, that complete abuse of international law might be considered reason to vote against the resolution...
