I just wanted to let you all know, there's a proposal in the UN right now that will expire very soon, probably the next time the UN updates, as the date on it is today. I think it needs to get approved. It will ban marriages to minors under the age of 15. It's very close to passing right now. It only needs six more approvals to get out of the proposal stage and into the resolution stage. Please take a minute to go look this proposal over, and hopefully grant your approval to it.

Thank you.

Thanks to those of you who approved this proposal. Please remember to vote on it soon. I encourage you to vote for it, but the decision is, of course, up to you.

The Kytro government cannot support such a resolution as it inteferes with religious freedoms.

The Kytro government does not recogonise marriage, but allows civil unions for legal partnerships. Marriage is purely religious, and this resolution could potentially make a religious ceremony into a criminal offense.

There's already a thread (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=359697) on this resolution, let's keep the debates in there please.
