What makes you think it had til the "end" of Friday? The updates are not always at the same time, nor at the end of the day.

It is possible that your proposal expired early Friday instead of late Friday. If your proposal was deleted by a moderator, they should have at least sent you a telegram.

You should be thanking them for removing that awful thing
Since you stole the terminology from an existing book, TV show, and issue ... Pot, meet dark-hued kettle
Our investigation has turned up nothing of note
But then, we have no powers of investigation. You'd have to go to Moderation to properly complain
There is no guarantee any proposal lasts until the END of a posted date. It WAS up on Friday (today), but got wiped by the minor update. That's how it works here at NS
Please stop wasting our time with proposals when you clearly have no interest in listening to the quite sensible objections of UN forum readers. There is a remote chance that there are some redeeming possibilites in your proposal, but if you're unwilling to adjust it accordingly, then we won't support it.

You know ... I have to admit I'm a bit bummed, as the STD Big Brother thread / discussion ended up with a 3.5 rating, while my beer discussion ended up with a 3.0.

My point: There may actually be nations here that like these proposals.

*shrug*

I'd say that is a good start. :)

Now get rid of the idea of having the government track everybody, and maybe it'll start to make some sense.

How about the government doesn't implant anyone with chips to track their movements?

They could study weather patterns, animal migration patterns, etc.

Edit: Ditto on what _Myopia_ said.

How about convicted criminals.

We're not permanently implanting ANYONE with chips. If we wish to track convicts, we will use ankle tags or the like, which can be removed at the end of a sentence, and whilst they aren't immune to unauthorised removal, will alert authorities if tampered with.
