A proposal

I, Frank Merritt, ruler of the Armed Republic of Dirtyfrank, hereby propose that in order for a bill to pass, it must receive at least an 85% approval rating before going into effect. I have spoken to the leader of Sydia and they have agreed to back me on this......
Either I'm suffering froma very bad case of amnesia, or you're confusing me for someone else.

It strikes us as highly unlikely that Sydia, the author of a successfully passed resolution, would endorse a proposal that is blatantly in violation of game mechanics. As most folks know (from reading the FAQ and stickies), game-mechanics-altering proposals are considered cause for revocation of UN status.
Nice knowing ya, Frank.

my apologies.....I received a telegram from Sydia saying i should voice my opinion on the bill i proposed in the forums. I must have misunderstood what he meant, as he also said i had his backing.
Did you telegram me asking for tips on how to 'enter' a UN resolution (or words to that effect), and I replied that the best way to make sure a proposal reaches quorum is by ironing it out by posting on the UN forum?

Ah! You wanted me to vote against Habeus Corpus, to which I responded that I vote with the majority of the region, so the best way to make sure the delegate votes the way you want is to post a persuasive argument to sway the majority. I was refering to the regional forums here, chalk it up to a lack of clarity on my part I suppose.
I have absolutely no idea where the 85% thing comes from.
