Resolution Responsibility Proposal

This is just to let everyone know that you have until tomorrow (September 2) to add your support to the Resolution Responsibility proposal. I have noticed a number of threads where conservative nations and regions have been upset about the oppression of the liberals in the U.N. Well, here is a chance to at least do a little something about it.

The proposal still needs over 100 supporters. If it does not get support I will try again at least once. Please remember that when it comes to these environmental proposals it is our sovereignty that is violated and our people and industries that are forced to cough up funds to pay for cumbersome and unreliable "solutions" to the world's pollution problem.

In line with this, let's see some more conservative proposals (scrubbers, true research into viable alternative fuels) to counteract such restrictive legislation.

OOC-Remember, in this world we can't use the "big oil bought the idea and buried it" excuse. Let's see some truly innovative ideas.

Read the list of passed resolutions, more specifically, "Rights and Duties of UN Member States." It does most of what you're trying to do, and does it in an international framework far exceeding anything else put in the queue to date. Unfortunately, the mods don't enforce it, and we're helpless to make those changes from the forums. Such is the limitation of resolutions. Beyond the change in statistics, a lot of people just dont' care.

Might I just add in future please consider posting a copy of your proposal here so players can peruse it with-out having to track it down ? Thanks.
