Whaling: Indigenous peoples INFORMING the UN that they ARE EXEMPT

NOTE:
"Indigenous peoples who engage in 'aboriginal whaling' using traditional non-industrial methods and taking only a small number of whales each year, to be exempt from the ban. A register of such peoples to be set up by the UN."

So - all indigenous people cathing traditional etc. etc. ARE EXEMPT from the ban. There is no need to register or apply or anything.

But I suggest that UN members with such activities simply INFORM the UN here. Then UN can set up a register.

There are other threads where nations apply - but this is not in line with the resolution - and not in the spirit of proud and free whales and whalers alike.

The Nomadic Peoples of Gaupe greet you all!

We inform UN that we will continue or traditional whaling.

Inspired by the US execution methods, we will also experiment with humane killing methods, such as electrical chairs for whales.

In addition - our government has vegetarianism as a long term goal, and we will encourage that thru taxation on all industrial meat production.

Also, meat-eaters who oppose whaling in public will be fined, and forced to eat vegetables for a month.

Vegetarians who oppose whaling will get free carrots, pommes frites and grilled aubergine.

By order of the nomadic peoples

The purpose of this thread is different. In the two others they discuss whaling, and the apply for exemptin.

Eat whale meat, it will increase your ability to read and think! Lots of vitamins.

Chinese Greenland is not a UN member, but we would like to inform you that we are going to allow a sustainable level of whaling in our country. If we allow whales to get anywhere near extinction in our seas or in neighboring seas, we will not blame you if you decide to drive us to extinction.

Sincerely,

Prime Minister Olav Kong
