How do I go about getting approvals?

I have a resolution in play at the moment (Environment Damaging Weapons, please approve it) and need 123 more approvals for it.
However, I'd like this thread to be more than just about me.
What advice would you give to resolution writers seeking the 130 or so approvals needed for quorum?

Make a thread about your proposal in this forum. Quote the text and ask for feedback, debate, and approvals. Telegram delegates that you see approving other people's proposals, asking them to approve yours. Telegramming is mostly the way to success.

Be polite in your telegram, be articulate and be helpful (include a link to the proposal, and if it helps, the content of the proposal).
I'll note however that I don't want your proposal to reach quorum because it is poorly written, inaccurate and failed to consult the regular UN members.

If the references to depleted uranium were removed would you change that opinion?
Also, what are the "direct" links to proposals like? My browser at home was too fast to copy and paste the actual link when I was searching up on the UNEC proposal.

I concur, having succesfully telegrammed a proposal into quorum.

Yes I would change the opinion - I don't find anything else unduly inaccurate.
Direct linkage to submitted proposals:

Use %20 instead of a space for multiple words. It'll then run a search for those terms, just like when you search for it.
