[3nd draft, final draft] The Sexes Rights Equality Act
Edit 2: Now with extra added Cogerismes!
The side of sexes rights that (hopefully) only deals with human rights.
The United Nations notes with sorrow the precedent in history and contemporary times where male dominated cultures infringe upon the rights of women. The following document is intended to both relieve and resolve much of these discriminative actions, not for one sex, but for all.
The United Nations :
Re-affirms and Re-states : Article 4 of The Universal Bill of Rights, implemented by the Nation States United Nations on Fri Aug 8 2003.
Deplores : The intimidation of one sex or more by another or others. Whether that sex is chosen or by birth.
Is Deeply Disturbed By : Government encouraged segregation of the sexes and suppression based on sex.
Does Formally Recognise and Declare : That the rights of all sexes are equal and that this equality must be preserved in the interests of the rights of all citizens of Nation States United Nation member states.
RESOLVES :
1. The Nation States United Nations does legalise divorce, in all member states, for people in an abusive marriage.
2. The Nation States United Nations calls upon all employers within member-states to provide equal chance at employment/ranking for all sexes.
The above conditions are recommendations applicable within reason in that they are open to interpretation by a member states legal system in regards to each individual case, under the condition that the legal system must act in an un-biased fashion in regard to these cases.
3. No UN member nation shall bar illustrations of internal or external genitalia when such illustrations are used for educational or informative purposes including those that are deemed 'unnecessary' for reproduction and/or offensive.
4. Cosmetic surgery on genitalia at birth because a child's genital does not conform to what a nation believes as 'normal' for that sex is hereby prohibited in all UN member nations.
6. The practice of infanticide based only on the sex of the baby, or the ambiguity of sex, shall be prohibited in all UN member nations.
5. Religious organisations, vocations were you are required to play a role (eg actors), and jobs passed down ancestrally are exempt from clause 2b.
